The course is on Hospital property and there is a chance that an Ambulance may need to use the road on the course. There are some significant downhill sections. Because of these conditions, you need to be alert to your surroundings. So, to ensure safety, unregistered runners, unauthorized vehicles, bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, roller blades, the wearing of headphones, or running with dogs are prohibited on the course. If you need music to run, you could always play it though your speakers on your smartphone.
Stafford Race Series
2019 unites three Stafford County races into a series to keep you moving. A partnership has been created between the Stafford Hospital and the Jeff Rouse Swim Center.
Three races are in the series
- April 6 Stafford Hospital's Spring Fever 5km
- Oct 26 Halloween 5km
- Dec 14 Frosty 5km
Go to the Series Page to register for all three races. You will receive a discounted entry fee on that page. Runners finishing all three races will get a special Series Medal and are eligible for Series Awards.
There is even a option for children 12 and under to a shorter 1km or Mile race at each event.

USATF Certified course starting and finishing at Stafford Hospital Center. Goes onto Courthouse Road to Stafford Middle and Brooke Point High School. A few short hills.
1/2 Mile Course
The start and finish of the 1/2 course are the same as the 5km course. 1/2 runners will turn around on Hospital Center Dr prior to the parking lot entrance near Rt 630.

Overall - Top 3 Boys and Girls - 12 years old and younger
Chip Timing using Chronotrack Bib Tags provided by Race Timing Unlimited. Gun and Chip times will be recorded. All awards are based on Gun Time.
From I-95, take exit 140 towards Rt 1. Turn right onto Rt. 1 at light. Stafford Hospital will be on your left.
Early Registration closes at 8pm on Wednesday April 3, 2019. After that time, registrations will only be accepted at packet and race day pickup.
