| Free Child Care During 5km and 1 Mile Races |
| Reservation Details for Kids' Corner |
If you are participating in the 5K and/or 1 Mile Run/Walk, you are welcome to utilize the Kids’ Corner that will be in the Park Ridge Elementary School Library. This area is available for children who are three years or older AND POTTY TRAINED. You may bring a peanut-free snack and/or drink (with name) for your child(ren) if you like. Please be sure to reserve a space for your child(ren) so we can have enough helping hands on race day. If you haven’t done so already, a reservation can be made via e-mail to parkridge5k@yahoo.com to the attention of Rebecca Van Opdorp. Also, please include in this message the following ~ the number of child(ren), ages of child(ren), your name and the child(ren)’s name.
This area will be manned by teachers of Park Ridge Elementary school who each have a current criminal background check and are experienced in being with children of many ages. In addition, several students from the National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) at Rodney Thompson will be on hand to help, as well as our own PRES parent volunteers.

| Check in for Kids' Corner |
Opens at 7:15 am located in the cafeteria. Look for signs directing you to ‘Kids’ Corner’. Please bring a form of ID as well as your race number. You will leave your ID with the Kids’ Corner Chair for the duration of your race time. It will be returned to you when you pick up your child(ren). For safety purposes, at check-in, you and your child will receive a wristband upon which your race number will be written. An emergency contact will be requested. |

Child(ren) MUST be picked up no later than 9:45 a.m. Please be sure to keep your race number with you until you pick up your child(ren). The numbers must match the wrist bands in order for your child(ren) to be released to your care! |
